REF:S0062/20 - 2 BEDROOM VILLA CALASPARRA 119,000 EUROS
We are delighted to offer for sale an immaculate two-bedroomed, two-bathroom villa on Tierra De Sol in Calasparra, a beautiful and traditional Murcia town, just 80 minutes from the Mediterranean coast.
The property, which is priced to sell, has undergone major improvements, which have been carried out to high specifications by respected and fully qualified local builders – Spanish and English.
We believe that this is the best two-bedroomed villa on the development with the 525 m2 plot offering a host of advantages, and all at a realistic price. The extras include:
1 The Olivo-style house has a high ceiling which is cool in the summer and provides great sunlight all-year round. This type of ceiling cost 17,000 euros extra when the property was first built.
2 The property has an efficient and cost-effective air-conditioning unit which was purchased from Euronics in Calasparra and has recently been serviced. Every room in the property has air-con and the unit, which cost more than 2,000 euros, can even be used to heat the property. This is unlikely to be used because . . .
3 The villa has full gas central heating, with high-specification English radiators in every room. This was installed 18 months ago by Murcian company Ecoluz y Gas and includes a high-output Saunier Duval Combi boiler (which provides constant hot-water 24 hours a day).
4 There are security grills on the outside and rear of the property.
5 The villa has fly screens and shutters on all the doors and windows of the property. The screens were professionally fitted by local company Sanchez Caravaca Ramon.
6 There is a high-output wood-burning stove which is very efficient and provides an atmospheric centre-piece to the comfortable, modern lounge.
7 The terrace has been recently upgraded and is now a large and comfortable room which can be used as a dining room or a third bedroom. The double-glazed windows (installed by local company Sanchez Caravaca Ramon) provide beautiful views of San Miguel and the Molino mountains.
8 In recent months, the owners have installed a new, modern kitchen, with extra cupboard space, modern tiles and locally-sourced dark granite worktops.
9 Other improvements include a car port, a row of Cypress trees which provides privacy from the street and a new and wider pathway, using local Valentin tiles.
The property has two good sized double bedrooms with fully fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans. The master bedroom is en suite with shower, w.c, and sink. The family-sized bathroom is fitted with a bath and shower, w.c, and sink.
There is a large and totally private outside space to the side of the property with a walled garden, large gazebo, garden furniture and a recently purchased spa pool for four people, which is being left by the owners. A wooden fence with climbing ivy and roses offers full privacy. The rear of the property includes a good-sized brick-built storage shed which also houses and protects the gas boiler. There are two areas to neatly store wood and a large stand-alone shed.
The villa receives Spanish television, Sky TV and a 20 mb internet signal.
This house is ready for immediate occupation and we strongly recommend early viewing.
Calasparra is the jewel of inland Spain. The town, which has more than 10,000 inhabitants, is next to the River Segura and close to the Cazorla mountain range. There are great roads and motorways to the cities and coasts of Spain and there are two nearby airports – Corvera (45 minutes) and Alicante (80 minutes). This agricultural area produces the famous Calasparra rice, which is officially the best rice in the world and used by all the top chefs.
There are more than 40 different walking routes, along the beautiful mountains and forests which are a one-minute walk from the property. The area is perfect for fishing, cycling, horse riding, rafting and canoeing. The nearest golf course is the par-71 Altorreal Golf Club, which was designed by Dave Thomas and is 45 minutes away.
In the centre of the town, there is a tourist information centre, many shops and banks and a host of amazing restaurants offering delicious Murcian food at very reasonable prices. Every Friday there is a bustling market with stalls of locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables, clothes and household goods.
The third most holy Catholic city in the world, Caravaca de la Cruz, which was recently visited by the Pope, is only 25 minutes away and there are lots of beautiful and atmospheric Murcia towns in the area including Cehegin, Moratalla, Cieza and Mula.
